Schaffer Specialty Welding has the capability to provide you with several effective cutting strategies depending on your specific cutting needs. With over 15 years experience in the plasma and flame cutting industry, Schaffer Specialty Welding has the knowledge to accurately produce your part with extreme efficiency.

The primary advantage of plasma cutting over other flame cutting processes is a thin heat affected zone (HAZ) that minimizes material distortions and paint damage. Plasma cutting is five times faster than traditional oxyfuel torch cutting and capable of precision curved line cutting. Also, with our four turbo oxyfuel torches, we can cut heavy duty plate up to 12 inches thick.

Offering (6) amperage ranges to process your parts, allowing us to match amperage to material thickness, to give you the highest quality product
Using pure oxygen as the primary cut gas eliminates edge preparation for secondary welding procedures.
When processing stainless steel and aluminum, we utilize nitrogen as our primary plasma gas
4 turbo oxyfuel torches are capable of simultaneously cutting 1/2 in. to 12 in. thick material.

All processed parts are deburred and marked with their corresponding part number if requested. Parts requiring secondary operations can also be performed in house. These include: blasting, wet painting, machining, punching, forming, welding, and rolling.
